We've done our best to make Filter the best app possible for finding any type of connection you're looking for. We allow you to filter profiles, we make it easy for you to start and have great conversations, we recommend you awesome places and events after you've matched, and we allow you to rate profiles (not like Black Mirror) to encourage better behavior amongst one another.
We care about who uses our app. We want to give everyone the opportunity to find a lasting friendship, or love that has no boundaries or anything in between. That's why we believe in not restricting the app from that purpose. We don't use fake profiles to artificially boost our user count either.
Save yourself time from having to go through profile after profile you have no intention of matching with by filtering based on lifestyle choices (drinking and smoking habits, for example), your favorite interests, your favorite music, food tastes, your favorite teams, and so much more!
Our app has been built for starting and having great conversation once you've matched. We don't just show you what you have in common with your match but what passions you share, the values you share, and your lifestyle choices and habits. This enables you to not be attracted to your partner on just a physical level, but to be attracted on a mental and spiritual one as well. We give you conversation starters and have made it easy to break the ice using your match's profile biography.
Because we know how hard it is to find a place to meet or something to do after you've matched, we provide you with curated recommendations (over 2,000 and growing every day) based on your mutual interests and location. This takes the guesswork out of having to figure out what to do on that first meeting so that you can make a better first impression.
Lastly, we aim to prevent bad behavior by encouraging kindness and respect by giving you the ability to rate profiles for ghosting, responding to messages, and conduct. Because isn't it about time that we started treating each other better online? We think so and that's why we're here to help end the era of toxic behavior on social media.
